Vehicle Interference

 Good Morning Resident,

We have been made aware of the following incidents of vehicle interference (LC-20260113-1377) and (LC-20260113-0536) in the WHITEHALL area of Darwen. These incidents have occurred in the early hours of the 13th JANUARY 2026, we have received footage that shows an unknown male trying car door handles, gaining entry into one vehicle.

Please can we ask residents to review any footage between 00:00hrs on 13th JANAUARY 2026 until around 05:00hrs on 13TH JANUARY 2026. If you have any footage that could assist us with our enquiries we would ask if you could contact us on 101 quoting one of the above log numbers.

We are asking residents in this area to remain vigilant ensuring doors to properties and vehicles are locked and secure and to continue reporting suspicious activity to police in order for us to take action and attempt to identify any possible offenders.
